trueSpace lives

Had a sudden spasm of Acute-Onset 3D Modeling Syndrome.

After staring at this object on my bookshelf for the last few years I decided to model it in 3D. It was this camera that got me started in photography. It still works. Once I got started it didn’t take too long. The hardest bit to figure out was the film advance crank.

Modeled in trueSpace 7.6; rendered with VRAY render engine.

Still not crazy about the look of the material on the metal crank- still a little too ‘glowy’.

Eventually destined to become part of my site redesign.

Getting closer…
