Old Commerce Lake, Michigan photographs

Photographs of the 1930-1950’s period from Commerce Lake, Michigan.

From my favorite Aunt named LuLu’s photograph collection.
Pictures of the bucolic and sometimes hard life of some of Commerce Lake’s original permanent settlers.
Includes views of the 1941 flood that resulted from a burst dam upstream on the Huron river.

Sometimes life makes you laugh, and then it makes you cry.
